See the great mosaics of St Paul’s ceilings from your armchair
The Google Cultural Institute has for the first time captured the series of remarkable mosaics in the ceiling of St Paul's Cathedral with gigapixel technology. The mosaics were installed after Queen Victoria called the great London landmark 'dull, cold, dreary and dingy.' Tom Holland travels to St Paul's to see them close up.
