As if running 27 marathons in 27 days isn't bad enough, Eddie Izzard was chased by dogs in South Africa in the process whilst live on the radio.

Speaking to 5 live Breakfast's Elly Oldroyd, Eddie was explaining that he had been "in and out of hospital" for health reasons when a pack of dogs ended up hot on his heels.

"They look like attack dogs", said Eddie before pleading, "can you donate all your dog food for Sport Relief?".
