Saint John Coltrane Church under threat of eviction
The church is a jazz institution in San Francisco but it may now be forced to move from its location in the Fillmore district. The church believes that the music of John Coltrane has a spiritual power, taking his seminal album, 'A Love Supreme", as its gospel. The church's reverend, Franzo King, believes the eviction is part of a wider programme of aggressive gentrification in the city.
