Former Corrie Writer: ‘I owe Tony Warren everything’
Former Coronation Street writer Daran Little has paid tribute to the soaps creator Tony Warren, who has died at the age of 79.
Little, who also wrote ѿý FOUR drama “The Road to Coronation Street” described Warren as “completely revolutionary” for the way he brought the Manchester accent to the forefront of television.
He said “without him, I don’t think I would ever have had a career in television”.
