Former Coronation Street writer Daran Little has paid tribute to the soaps creator Tony Warren, who has died at the age of 79.

Little, who also wrote 蜜芽传媒 FOUR drama 鈥淭he Road to Coronation Street鈥� described Warren as 鈥渃ompletely revolutionary鈥� for the way he brought the Manchester accent to the forefront of television.

He said 鈥渨ithout him, I don鈥檛 think I would ever have had a career in television鈥�.
