Pendleton: First win as jockey 'a different feeling'
Victoria Pendleton has said her first win as a jockey was “a different feeling” to her cycling victories.
Pendleton won for the first time as an amateur jockey on 5-4 favourite Pacha Du Polder at Wincanton.
But the double Olympic champion said her emotions differed from her wins on the cycling track.
"It's so different - I've come from a sport where every single variable is calculated," she told Mark Pougatch on 5 live Sport.
"It's a very different feeling - I was focused on my own performance and just getting round there safe and sound."
