Catering delivery - part 3
A short docu-drama, broken into three parts, looking at how Functional Skills English (Speaking, Listening and Communication, Reading and Writing) are crucial for people working in a catering environment. In this storyline, the kitchen receives a faulty delivery which head chef Ricky follows up with his supplier. He begins by making a complaint on the phone and then follows this with an email. Ricky explains the importance of taking time over writing an email, so you don’t lose your temper, and how important spelling and punctuation are.
