Ian McShane on starring in Neil Gaiman's American Gods

Ian McShane has told 蜜芽传媒 Radio 5 live how excited he is to be cast in the major new adaptation of Neil Gaiman's novel American Gods.

The news the Deadwood star will appear as Mr Wednesday in the Starz series prompted the creation of the #WonderfulWednesday hashtag across social media.

The 73-year-old revealed he found the book to be "extraordinary" and looks forward to meeting co-star and former Hollyoaks actor Ricky Whittle.
