Railway revival: the stations that are coming back to life
The Beeching cuts in 1963 and 1965 led to the closure of 55% of stations and 30% of route miles across Great Britain. How many of Dr Beeching's cuts have been reversed over the years since? We look at the stations and lines that have recently reopened for rail passengers.
