Bipolar caller on his 'beautiful madness'
Money saving expert Martin Lewis has been telling 5 live Breakfast more needs to be done to protect people with mental health problems from spiralling into debt as a result of their condition.
He announced the launch of a new think tank, the Money and Mental Health Policy Institute, which will work with banks, lenders, regulators and health service providers to help people with mental health problems protect themselves from financial difficulties and get out of debt.
Neil in Cornwall and Jason in Bournemouth called Nicky Campbell to share their experiences. Neil said, "I call it my beautiful madness. When I'm in a manic phase, I get this overwhelming urge where I have to have something ... and if I don't get it it's like there's gonna be something totally missing from my life".
