New highs for medical marijuana start-ups
Tel Aviv hosted an international convention for the cannabis industry on Monday, aimed at driving further growth in what has already become a multi-billion dollar global industry. Business start-ups in the sector are said to be reaching new highs, following the drug's medicalisation in countries around the world, including in 23 American states. Israel has been at the forefront of research and development in the uses of medical cannabis, but is the rest of the world catching up? Cannabis speciality pharmacist Saul Kaye attended the convention:
