EU-Turkey agreement under fire
The United Nations has voiced concern about the EU-Turkey agreement. The U.N. High Commissioner for Refugees said Europe's commitments to resettle refugees remain very low compared to what's needed.
William Spindler is a spokesman for the UNHCR and believes that "the blanket return" of people from Greece to Turkey "would not be consistent with international or European law". Looking into the practicalities might not be enough, as "we also have to look at the principle", Spindler said on PM.
