Ferocious seas lash Aldeburgh coast
Video showing the ferocity of the sea lashing part of the sea wall at Aldeburgh in Suffolk has been released by the coastguard.
Waves can be seen spraying metres up into the air as water pours over the sea wall two hours before high tide on Wednesday.
The footage was filmed by the Aldeburgh Coastguard Rescue Team after it was called to help police close the top part of the town's sea wall when a stretch of it collapsed.
People were also evacuated from the scene by the team.
