‘Shock and anger’ at Shoreham report
A friend of two of the victims of the Shoreham air show crash has told 5 live about feeling "shock and anger" after the interim report revealed opportunities were missed to prevent the accident.
Mark Sanderson, who is vice chairman of Worthing United football club where victims Matthew Grimstone and Jacob Schilt both played, said the team were "very close" and losing the players was still "very raw".
The report by the Air Accident Investigation Branch heavily criticises 'inadequate' risk management at the event and goes on to say organisers failed to carry out a proper risk assessment for the displays.
Eleven people died when a Hawker Hunter jet fell to the ground and exploded near the A27.
