A short docu-drama, broken into two parts, looking at how the Functional Skills English of Speaking, Listening and Communication, Reading and Writing are crucial for people working in a construction environment. In this storyline, Ren, the builder, meets a current client who has some additional works that are required. In part 1 they discuss the new work. In part 2 Ren prepares the quotation and discusses how he ensures there are no spelling mistakes in his quotations. Ren then meets his client again and they discuss the new quotations. The client gives the go-ahead.
