Mali's Songhoy Blues on resisting jihadists' musical ban
Mali's Songhoy Blues fled to the capital, Bamako, after jihadists took control of their home region in 2012 and banned music. They have collaborated with artists such as Blur's Damon Albarn for their debut album, Music in Exile. Their lead singer Aliou Touré spoke to Weekend's Martin Vennard.
