Chelsea striker Diego Costa was at the centre of controversy after appearing to make contact with the neck of Gareth Barry.

Costa received a second yellow card for his actions, resulting in the Brazilian-born Spanish international being shown his first red card in English football.

Fans of various teams phoned into 606 with Robbie Savage and Darren Fletcher, with one claiming that "he should be banned for 19 games" and another that: "He is not a role model. Would you want your kids to play football like him? No!"
