Stuart Pearce has 'still got it' on the pitch, aged 53
Former England International Stuart Pearce came out of retirement for one game to play for the side dubbed "the worst team in the UK".
The former Nottingham Forest, Newcastle and Manchester City star played his one and only match for the team on Saturday, but even with the 53-year-old playing the second half, the Gloucestershire Northern Senior League Division Two side could not avoid defeat.
Nick Dawe, the first team manager at Longford AFC, told Adrian Goldberg that Pearce 'was great' and 'the players loved it'.
