Tasmanian Wilderness saved from loggers
Environmentalists in Australia celebrate after the Australian and Tasmanian authorities announce they will abandon their campaign to allow logging in the Tasmanian wilderness. The UNESCO World Heritage site covers a fifth of the island and is one of the last expanses of temperate rain forest in the world.
