He's one of the twenty thousand that REALLY can say " I was there when India won the World Cup" Rajdeep Sardesai is a well known television news presenter in India, but back in 1983 he was an 18-year-old studying, and playing league cricket in the UK who managed to get a ticket to the World Cup Final.
He witnessed India shock favourites West Indies with a 43 run victory to lift the trophy and in his eyes "it was a turning point for cricket in India."
