Brussels attacks: Are Europe’s police sharing enough information?
The Secretary General of the Council of Europe has told 5 live he is “not 100% confident” police forces across Europe are co-operating well enough with each other.
Thorbjorn Jagland, who has been the Council of Europe’s Secretary General since 2004, went on to say forces across the continent can “always to do better police work” and “there can always be more sharing of information”.
He made his comments after at least 30 people were killed and dozens injured in attacks at Brussels international airport and a metro station in the Belgian capital.
