Women's IPL is a 'pretty distant dream'
Any chance of India creating a women's IPL is "still a very long way off", according to commentator Charu Sharma of All India Radio.
There have been a number of changes to women's cricket in India, especially since the women’s governing organisation merged with the International Cricket Council in 2005 to create one unified ruling board.
However, a professional women's league is still not one of them.
Sharma says that "at least other nations are beginning to show the way forward" but adds that any talk of such a league in India is, for now, "a pretty distant dream".
