If you have a Land Rover Defender, you're being warned criminal gangs could have their eyes on it.

NFU Mutual says the theft of the four-by-four vehicles is on the rise, following a decision to stop making them.

The rural insurer claims our region is in the UK's top five for the number of claims for thefts, with the figure reaching a hundred and sixty-five thousand pounds for 2015.

Gloucestershire Police says of the one hundred and forty-nine reported incidents of vehicles thefts, over the past calendar year, six of them were Land Rover Defenders.
