Celebrating the sounds of our shores
A British coastal soundscape made out of recordings submitted by members of the public is now complete, and available online. Created by Martyn Ware - a former member of UK bands Human League and Heaven 17 - the project is a sonic mural of both familiar and unfamiliar sounds from the seaside. He explains how it all began:
