What if Johan Cruyff had been born in Accrington?
George Riley, former England winger Chris Waddle and author David Winner discuss how different English football might have been if Dutch legend Johan Cruyff, had been born in Accrington rather than Amsterdam.
Cruyff, who died on Thursday at the age of 68, made his name as a forward with Ajax and Barcelona. He was European footballer of the year three times and coached Barcelona to their first European Cup triumph in 1992.
Although he was one of the greats, Waddle believes Cruyff would have been "disillusioned" by the English game of the 1960's and "probably would have ended up going into non-league".
