More than 5,000 people have signed a petition protesting against a council's decision to scrap donkey rides in Paignton in Devon.

The council have re-tendered what's called the "mobile attraction" in Paignton, which they gave to trampolines instead of donkeys.

Julie Whybrow who has been providing donkey rides on Paignton Green for the last 15 years.

She said: "We're hoping to change the councils mind, we've put out a petition, which has gone mad on Facebook. We want to change their minds, so that we can get back on Paignton green."
