Terry Butcher: John Terry can't do a job for England
Former England captain Terry Butcher says fellow ex-national skipper John Terry is not ready to return to international football.
Terry has not played for his country since retiring from internationals in 2012 and Butcher believes England coach Roy Hodgson should not pick Terry – despite rumours that the Chelsea captain could return.
"No I don't think so, I don't think he's at any level of international football," he replied to 5 live's Caroline Barker asking him if Terry should be in the squad for for this summer’s European Championships in France.
He added: "For me when I heard it I thought it was a complete non-starter straight away. John Terry won't be playing for England."
