Do you take sleep seriously?

The Royal Society of Public Health is warning that too many of us are regularly getting too little sleep.

They want the government to issue guidance on how many hours we should all get - a so-called 'slumber number.'

Its Chief Executive, Shirley Cramer, said sleep "should have parity with diet, physical exercise and not smoking".

Cramer said cognitive behaviour therapy has proved to be "extremely successful" in helping sleep problems and said it should be "made more available".
