Writer and activist Feminista Jones discusses the politics of hair with 5 Live's Dotun Adebayo after a video of a black woman in San Francisco telling a white man that his dreadllocks belong to "her culture" goes viral.

"It's very highly nuanced because it's all about intention" says Feminista.

"I'm not one of those people who says that white people cannot wear certain styles but when you do so you have to understand the implications of it and how it reads to other people".
