They claim to be the first woman's racing team in the Arab world and now there's a new film about their exploits: Speed Sisters is a documentary about a team of ground-breaking female racing car drivers in the occupied territory of the West Bank

It's an unlikely tale of four Palestinian women and their team captain. Weekend's Ellen Otzen has been talking to the film's director Amber Fares about why she decided to make the film.
