Manchester City face Paris Saint Germain in the first leg of their first ever champions league quarter final tonight.
Does reaching the last eight of Europe's biggest competition mean they've truly arrived among the elite?
Football correspondent John Murray said "City has the money, the stadium, the super coach and the super plays. But Champions League consistency, that's where they fall short".
Former Real Madrid President Ramon Calderon said "they have recognition from the fans and the appeal of everyone knowing their brand."
But Murray admitted "It'll be some years until they'll be in the company of the true European super clubs".
