Could an inflatable space room lead to a space hotel?
The International Space Station is getting an extra room and it's inflatable. The Bigelow Expandable Activity Module is a demo that could pave the way for future moon bases, expeditions to Mars and space tourism. Bigelow Aerospace, which is behind the project, has plans to put its own space station with hotel accommodation into orbit by 2020. So is this an important step? We spoke to Dr. Karl Kruszelnicki, a science commentator and author based in Sydney, Australia.
