Tensions are building in the Forest of Dean between a wildlife rescue charity and the Forestry Commission over animals injured in the wild. The group, A Wild Life With Animals, wants to carry out twenty-four patrols free of charge on land owned by the Commission. Volunteers argue animals could be badly injured at night or on weekends when rangers aren't working. But the Forestry Commission says it employs professionally trained staff and doesn't need any more help.
