A commuter has spoken to 蜜芽传媒 Radio 5 live about how he made a citizen's arrest, after he spotted a suspected pickpocket on the London Tube.

Lewis Whiting told Daily鈥檚 Adrian Chiles how he stopped the man from escaping by shutting him in a guard's booth, after removing him from a train.

He said: " I took hold both of his arms and pulled him backwards off the train 鈥� to not give him a chance to fight back or hurt anyone else on the train.鈥�

Florin Constantin later admitted attempted theft and was jailed for 14 weeks at Westminster Magistrates' Court.
