Newcastle United 1-1 Manchester City

Newcastle recovered from Sergio Aguero's controversial goal to earn a valuable draw with Manchester City.

Aguero was offside when he headed in Aleksandar Kolarov's free-kick to record his 100th Premier League goal.

Vurnon Anita equalised with a low curling shot to earn struggling Newcastle a point.

The result leaves Rafa Benitez's side two points from safety with four games left to play.
