Esther Rantzen: Victoria Wood was a ‘genius’
Esther Rantzen has paid tribute to Victoria Wood, saying "she really was a genius".
Esther went on to say that Victoria was a "breaker of barriers for women" and "her talent was so extraordinary and so original that it broke through on television".
The pair appeared on the TV programme 'That's Life' together, which featured Victoria as a musical guest.
Victoria, who first came to fame in 1974 when she won the TV talent show 'New Faces', has died aged 62 after a short battle with cancer.
