Beware the sleepless slugs!

Last year's wet summer, followed by one of the warmest winters on record, has helped to create a generation of 'sleepless slugs', wildlife experts have warned.

Gardeners should brace themselves for a generation of ‘sleepless slugs’, conservation charity BugLife has predicted, as a wet summer and an unusually warm winter has meant the animals haven't gone into hibernation.

Pippa Greenwood, from Gardeners' Question Time, discussed the inundation of the molluscs and what we can do about it.
