Kate Branden has been in a race against time to raise 拢400,000 so her husband Mike can receive lifesaving treatment. He has a rare, aggressive form of leukaemia and the new treatment is only available in America.

Kate created an online donation page to fund the treatment and hit her target after eight days. Any extra money raised will be donated to the Bristol Royal Infirmary Haematology Oncology Unit.

This is the second time Kate has fought to save Mike's life after successfully helping to find him a stem cell donor two years ago.
