Couple to serve 'rubbish food' at wedding
A bride and groom-to-be will serve food saved from bins at their wedding reception in County Durham.
Kim Hughes and Dan Woolnough have turned to REfUSE, a company that salvages food that would otherwise be wasted, to help prepare their reception meal.
Nikki Dravers from REfUSE said:
"We collect form local supermarket shops, cafes, anyone and everyone, and the majority of food that we serve is within date."
"We've still got a collection to do this morning, but for starters we've got a delicious tomato and lentil soup."
