Friend's tribute to climbing legend Alex Lowe
Sixteen years ago the world-renowned American climber, Alex Lowe, and cameraman David Bridges were killed in an avalanche on the 8,013m Shishapangma peak in Tibet. Their bodies were found by two climbers last week, still trapped in the ice.
Christian Arial, a mountaineer in Utah, shared his memories of Alex Lowe.
