
Leicester City story 'too daft' for Roy of the Rovers
It's a footballing cliché and has been used a lot to describe Leicester City's title winning season: 'a real-life Roy of the Rovers story' but the creator of Roy of the Rovers magazine says he may have rejected it for being unrealistic.
Barrie Tomlinson worked on the famous football comic for more than 30 years. He told Adrian Chiles that readers would have written in to complain the underdog story was "too daft".
