Cheetah numbers in Maasai Mara decline by half
Latest research shows that the number of cheetahs left in the wild has been overestimated. Most of Africa's six thousand and six hundred cheetahs live in Maasai Mara and the number is half of previous estimates. Femke Broekhuis from the Mara Cheetah Project says the number is declining because of loss of habitat.
