In 1995 Marcia fought to convict the famous American footballer OJ Simpson of murdering his ex wife Nicola Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman.

It was a court case unprecedented in public scrutiny, one in which Simpson was acquitted by the jury.

The hit TV drama on ÃÛÑ¿´«Ã½ 2 - The People vs OJ Simpson - has re-ignited interest in the trial.

Marcia Clark left the L.A. District Attorney's Office after the OJ Simpson case, although she still does defend in the appeal courts. She's gone on to write crime fiction and her latest book is called Blood Defense.
