An otter in Hereford has been caught stealing and killing prized koi carp.

In a bid to catch the culprit, Kelvin Skyrme set up a night vision camera in his back garden.

He told 5 live Daily's Peter Allen that he can understand why the otter would target his pond.

"I don't blame the otter, we fish keepers should make sure that our ponds are protected. I've laid on a buffet for him and he's walked a mile to enjoy it鈥�
