Farmer invents socks that don't smell
A Devon farmer says he has invented - by accident - socks that don't smell and don't need washing.
Steve Whitley said the fleece of angora kid goats does not trap smelly bacteria like wool or cotton fibres, and his mohair socks can be worn for as long as a year without washing.
Steve said "People keep writing back to us saying you can wear them day after day without washing them."
He said "My daughter wore the same socks for seven months and they didn't smell after that."
