BT customer: 'I'm at the end of my tether' with call centres
Telecommunication company BT has announced a 15% increase in profits. The announcement was made just days after most broadband and landline customers were told to expect their bills could go up by up to 7%.
5 live listener Anne said BT's customer service made her want to "smash somebody in the face with a shovel".
She said "In India the call centres are dreadful, they don't care and they lie. They really need to bring them back to the UK."
BT said they were “determined” to provide customers with “higher standards of service” by bringing contact centre work back to the UK and aiming to halve the number of missed appointments by Openreach.
