What's the problem with big notes?
Have you ever owned a 500 euro note? You won't have much chance in future. The European Central Bank has announced that the note is being withdrawn. The argument is that it makes it too easy for criminals to transport or hide their ill-gotten gains. Roger Hearing talks to Peter Sands, the former chief executive of Standard Chartered bank, now with the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. He's a big fan of banning the note.
