Will Neil Hamilton lead UKIP in the Welsh assembly?

UKIP won seats in the Welsh assembly for the first time last week.

Former Tory MPs Neil Hamilton and Mark Reckless are among UKIP's seven new Assembly Members.

The party is led by Nathan Gill in Wales, but Mr Hamilton said he will bid to lead UKIP in the Welsh assembly if his colleagues approve.

Hamilton said "we will discuss who's best able to fulfil that function within the assembly, if my colleagues want me to do the job of course I'll do it".
