BGT contestant: Why I compose classical music for my cat
A Britain's Got Talent contestant, who failed to impress Simon Cowell with a classical piano piece composed for his cat, says he "doesn't care what people think".
Seventy-two-year-old Rick Schmull, a retired stockbroker, says "something magical happens" when he plays for pet Meow Meow.
"She changes completely, when the emotion sounds through the music. Her eyes get bigger and bigger," he said.
"She is wonderful, I never thought that you could have a relationship with a cat like this", he added.
This programme was originally broadcast on Sunday 8 May 2016.
