A fifth of all plants are threatened with extinction
The Royal Botanic Gardens in Kew is publishing what it claims to be the first global study of the estimated 400,000 species of plant life in the world. It suggests a fifth of plants are threatened with extinction. Professor Kathy Willis, director of science at the Royal Botanic Gardens, talks to Mishal Husain.
