Waddle: Troy Deeney should go to the Euros
Former England winger Chris Waddle says Watford striker Troy Deeney should be a part of Roy Hodgson's squad for this summer's European Championships.
Watford captain Deeney has scored fourteen Premier League goals this campaign.
"He's mobile, he's got a football brain, he's excellent in the air and he's got as good a case as anyone else," said Waddle.
Waddle thinks Watford being deemed a non-glamorous club has hurt the 27-year-old's chances of international recognition.
"If he'd been playing for Arsenal, he'd be on that plane," he added.
